About TestForge
We built TestForge because testing tools should converge, not scatter. One platform for UI flows, API assertions, and diagnostic observability.
Our Mission
Engineering teams waste hours context-switching between fragmented testing tools. A REST client for APIs. A browser automation framework for UI. A separate dashboard for logs. Each with its own learning curve, data silo, and authentication layer.
TestForge eliminates this fragmentation. We built a single, local-first platform where an API assertion can natively feed data into a visual UI flow step, and every execution terminates in a unified observability dashboard with rule-based failure diagnosis.
Core Values
Privacy First
Your tests, secrets, and environments never leave your machine. TestForge operates with zero analytics egress and complete local execution.
Developer Experience
Keyboard shortcuts, auto-save, undo/redo, and context-aware modules. Built by developers who understand the workflow.
Structural Transparency
Every data flow, permission check, and execution path is documented. No opaque backends, no hidden telemetry.
Role-Based Security
Deny-by-default RBAC ensures every UI element is governed by centralized permission checks tied to the user role hierarchy.
The Team
TestForge is built and maintained by a focused engineering team committed to advancing automated testing infrastructure.
